Proteas Squad for Namibia White-ball Tour:

Bjorn Fortuin, Eathan Bosch, Dewald Brevis, Tony de Zorzi, Connor Esterhuizen, Jordan Hermann, Rubin Hermann, Duan Jansen, Kwena Maphaka, Nqobani Mokoena, Nqaba Peter, Lhuan-dré Pretorius, Lutho Sipamla, Jason Smith, and Prenelan Subrayen.

Can't blame the Saffers for not sending their first team. This one is still strong enough should win all games comfortably.

Would be nice if even Zim sends a young squad to this, I'm curious for the fate of the team post Raza.
Even Blessing, Ngarava and Evans can be rested - give guys like Alex Falao or Mazvitorera a go along with Newman

Judging by the last few NPL games. Not many of the national players have been playing at all. I suspect Musekiwa has been dropped from the squad.

Interesting calls there, some good and some... not very promising.
Why Cremer? He's 39, we'd do better with Frost in the squad.
Also why Matigimu?
From what I had seen in the logan cup, and his only test against SA, Id say he's nowhere close to being in the squad. I sort of thought we'd see Matt campbell and Alex Falao make the squad

Is Ngarava injured? If so, he really does have to step up here. Can't have the test and one day skipper breaking down like this

The rumour is Ngarava is injured. I guess that's why they are giving Matigimu a go.

Cremer did alright in the T20 World Cup, but I agree, he should step aside for a younger guy.

Alex and Matt are both in England.
I found it bizzare that this tri-Series is to be played under the t20i format, as opposed to the ODI format. This Tri-Series which is a basically a advertisment of the 3 nations hosting next year's
2027 ODI World Cup. Another bizzare idea is this is supposed
to be a somewhat of a trial of what is going to be a bigger &
expanded version of what the Asian Nations do with, of course
the Asia Cup.

Brendan Taylor amazing form in the NPL this season, average
125.00, scored 500 runs in 10 innings, with 6 of those innings
being *Not-Out at the end of the allotted 40 overs or completion
of win against opposition.

Hi guys does anyone know whether the matches will be broadcast?

Yes, but his Inclusion in the national squad seems out though, just seems a shade the batter he was.
Though the NPL is the premier tournament, BT is mostly playing against substandard bowling, making it easier to score.

Take that century last year in the qualifiers. I really thought he's made a comeback, but in the subsequent series it was evident he couldn't do much against better quality opposition.

Howzit SaloonLimo? Welcome to the forum.

Many of us on this forum talk out of our arses but it's a great place to hang out and talk Zimbabwe cricket.

ZCF has been around since November 2007, making it one of the oldest, and quite possibly the longest-running, dedicated Zimbabwe cricket communities on the internet.

We are currently rebuilding the website after the old website went down in late May/early June this year. You can always come here to find the latest news, reminisce about the good old days of Zimbabwe cricket or get into arguments with random strangers about team selections.

From what I understand he was trying to change his technique.
I don't who suggested this, but some said to him, resort back to your old technique, it never needed changing to begin with. Bt agreed now he's being doing well.

Matty Campbell himself said he's not a great fit for T20i cricket. Innocent Kaia or the under 19's player who's killing it in the NPL
