129/7 isn't bad at all, especially against a much more accomplished side like South Africa.
Kelis Ndhlovu came out and played a few really good looking shots, then got out just as she seemed to be getting going.
Mupachikwa, the keeper, reminds me a bit of Taibu. She's tiny 😂 She can definitely bat though. A little too slow today, but the ability is clearly there.
Mutasa is another one who caught my eye. She can play, and I wouldn't mind seeing her pushed a little higher up the order.
Overall, for my first time watching a full women's T20, it was a good watch. The pace is noticeably slower than the men's game, but perhaps trying to compare the two just sucks some of the enjoyment out of it. It might be better to treat women's cricket as its own version of the sport and take it for what it is.
Been out all day so missed it 😂 yeah Mupachikwa is tiny 😂😂 probably sub 5 foot.
Think kelis is probably 20 at the oldest. Been around since she was 16, Biza might be 16 now.
That’s a decent score. Everyone knows we’ll get whitewashed. It’s all about the moral victory of not totally capitulating and good personal performances I think. Can tell it’s a step up for them when sibanda is getting whacked. She’ll have a very decent economy against associates, seen ODI’s where she’s gone for like 30 runs off 10 overs, proper 1990s economy 😂
Yeah the slingy lady is good. Somewhat new to the team. Picked up a good wicket in the first match. They have a lot of handy batters.
