It is unlikely that BT will be dropped.
Welly should make way for either Burl or Cremer. I would prefer Burl, but Cremer is still a good option.

350 is like a 7 an over chase. A four and 3 singles an over. Simple. Heck, you could probably even do it in singles at a run a ball and pick the other 50 up with a few boundaries and extras over the course of the full 50 overs without even trying. And even worse, after Stanlake was injured they had 2 seamers, Zampa and a load of part time spinners, they used 8 bowlers ffs 😂😂 if there was ever a game to be won, it was that game after Stanlake went man down.
It’s all mental. The top 3 chowed down thousands of dot balls trying to build a platform and keep wickets in hand and by the 20th over the asking rate was probably 10 an over and just kept rising from there. Even if they weren’t making boundaries, HSC is the biggest ground in world cricket with 2s everywhere and they’re still out there now 😂
Promoting Evans was just wild. He’s no all rounder, just in a purple patch of form. That’s the same lack of joined up thinking that Houghton had in that Uganda game promoting Wellington over Clive and Wez.
Well atleast we now have clarity that Evans is best at 8.
But come on, breaking down a 350 run chase like that is too hard on them. There's only one time when we'd chased some 325 and that was 15 years ago

He definitely isn’t Price but got to see if he can perform, otherwise we are just carrying him along for the World Cup.

Agreed, Cremer for Wellington next game.
My position on Welly has since softened a bit. He did alright. We need him performing like this on a regular basis.
