To echo what everybody here has already said, let's use this game to test the bench.
Who's in your XI? Mine ๐
Curran, Bennett, Kaia, Wes, Craig, Raza, Maru, Cremer, Evans, Newman, Muzarabani
Rest BT and give Wes a shot at 4. Let's see how he performs when he has time to build an innings. Maru to take the gloves. Cremer in for Welly. I don't know how they can squeeze Burl in, but I wouldn't mind if he got in somehow.

Maybe rest Blessing and play both Cremer and Masakadza. Pitches might have slowed up a bit by now.
All the talk about Evans' failed promotion but it was at the expense of Madhevere. Wouldn't surprise me if he makes way for Burl or Marumani. Neither deserve it though

If Madhevere is dropped then that's completely unfair to him. I would play Burl instead of Cremer, and keep him at 8. Too low but cant be helped.
Maru at 6 and Wez at 5

No full member will ever beat four 40 year olds.
We have picked the side on the occasion and you know what, Iโm for it.

I wonder who really is the brain behind the selections? Four geriatrics in the team makes 0 sense

Has Marumani upset someone in the admin? Why is Burl not picked. Should have just lengthened their batting instead. Also 6 White players, seen that after a long time

Curran has been underwhelming this series.
He seems to have a issue with pace and bounce, which fair to say is a kryptonite for most Zim batters

Agreed. The Aussies have also not given him anything to pull. I haven't seen him playing that pull shot of his.

Cleaned up easily. Done nothing to warrant a place for the World Cup but who else is there

One thing is sure , Innocent Kaia is the most elegant batsmen zimbabwe have . Looks very nice when on the crease .

Sure I heard one of the commentators say in Fridayโs game that we will have 11 games at the world cup? Six games was getting bandied around at some point. Just remembered that now when Tino was chatting about it.

110 for 3 after 22 overs is not bad. Kaia and Craig are going nicely.
