Opening post

NPL starting again on the 8/10.

Be interesting to see any changes between the squads.

ICYMI Ed Rainsford NPL press conference.

Apparently the Logan Cup had to be pushed back in order to accommodate the NPL. If I heard correctly, it kicks off on the 22nd of October.

I recall him saying he isn't into T20 as much the longer formats. It seems he's developing into a multi-dimensional player. He bowls some useful spin too.

I'm also keen to see how he goes in the Logan Cup. He should also be the first name on the team sheet when Ireland Wolves visit in November.

Think Matt might be the replacement for Ervine, we've already got a number 3 in Kaia to replace Taylor.
Hopefully Naqvi will be eligible and can be the replacement for Raza

I don't want to get too excited over a few good knocks in the NPL. I want to see Matt kick on in the Logan Cup and for Zimbabwe A.

Let's see how he goes in the Rangers vs Eastern Titans game. YouTube stream.

I have been really impressed by the tournament so far.

I am nearly all the way through Ed's conference and there seems to be some real positives in the direction they are going.

Do we know what structure the play offs are? And when they are? They waited until Xmas for the Finals last year.

So 1 vs 2 - winner to the final
3 vs 4 - loser eliminated and winner plays the loser of 1 vs 2,

All finals at Harare this weekend,
Catch the ball in the crowd with one hand and win $1000

Very good quality stream today. Great to see.

Very high quality stream.

Whose commentating ?
AdminLegend
Ya, the stream was surprisingly good today. Not a single glitch.

Not sure about the commentators. I heard the voices of Darlington Matambanadzo, Chris Mpofu and Eli Tamirepi. There was a 4th commentator. His name is Tinashe I think. My first time hearing his voice.

Rangers will be in the final. They had a rough start but they've turned things around.
