Opening post

Watching the lady chevrons and matambanadzo said tonight they’re releasing the schedule for the 2027 World Cup, who’s playing at what venue and when.

I have always dreamt of a Zimbabwe Cricket Forums 20 year celebration at the 2027 Cricket World Cup - I have entered the ticket lottery for the Harare games on the off chance I can actually make the trip over to Zimbabwe.

Crazy that ZCF will be turning 20 next year. A celebration during the World Cup would be nice. Has there ever been a ZCF meetup before?

There has never been a meetup before, either in-person or online via Zoom, facetime, etc.

Any chance of Williams making a comeback for the world cup?

Today I learned that Keith Dabengwa is on the Danish cricket team coaching staff. Apparently, he relocated to Europe years ago

He must of got Brain Chari playing there a few years ago. Because Chari played a Denmark A game a few years back.

Unlikely, but you never know.

Who knows, he was playing club cricket last weekend. He wouldn’t be doing that if he was done 😂 there’s a year to the World Cup. For all the ZC quota and what what, they do love a white guy redemption arc 😂😂

Few of the Logan cup and/or pro50 games at the batanoka stadium this season. Will be interesting to see how it plays. Anyone know what the decks are? Like a square or drop in? Grass or hybrid?

Yeah if BT can comeback than the door is open for williams as well hopefully, a lack of match practice has never been much of a problem for him anyways
