Could be worse. Masuku was excellent during those middle overs. Blessing and Evans pulled things back during those death overs.

In every chase we just shut shop by the end of the powerplay, this just cant happen at all.
End of 10 overs, one of two or both the openers are back and another one follows, we need someone with a good technique at the top.
Curran just doesnt give a feeling of someone who has a sorted technique. He just plays all over the place. Bennett's just not an opener. The only other option is Marumani at the top, but again, I dont think even hes a prospect in the top order.
I wonder just who might be the answer.

I would have Kaia opening with Curran when he's fit. Bennett should move down to 3 or 4. Yes, Curran has been struggling of late, but he earned himself a few extra lives. If Curran continues to struggle, Matthew Campbell replaces him.
