eugene for his quips (and terrible choice in NRL side).

Terrible choice in NRL side? Who do you support?

I don't really follow NRL, but i guess it would be Brisbane by default.

Just to clarify...the terrible choice was sarcasm.

Overall, for me, definitely foreignfield and Jemisi for the same reasons they both have given already.

For the laughs, yes, eugene and anusha gamage - two different ends of the spectrum.

I have also enjoyed the brutal apocalyptic one-liners of Train Driver and the eternally enthusiastic arguments of jaybro.

Special mention: aydee

Good thread sloandog, especially with all the doom and gloom and with so little cricket around...

Thanks for the shout outs, Jaybro and Jemisi. Looks like I've got something with the Js.

I would have to say all the prolific posters are amongst my favorites, but if I had to pick one single poster, I would probably pick Jemisi myself, because he seems like the type of guy who could be friends with anybody and everybody (much like myself IRL).

Thanks to the guys on page one giving me the big wraps! Seriously made me smile.

Great to see a great forum member get his due credit. Well deserved.

Thanks for the recognition.

Thanks Sloan for the post, especially after that nonsense you had to face recently.

And for the kind words.

I have been thinking about the forum a bit lately in the gloom.

There really are only a couple of trolls, now gone again and a couple of random botlike posters that bring the place down. In the midst of cricket they get swept away but in the dry times they become prolific.

I really do enjoy and appreciate all of the contributions from the people who are here for the right reasons. Including the less regular posters as well as the mainstays.

Perhaps like sloan has done we could work on some fresh stuff a bit more to fill in some of the long gaps.

Just pointing out I’m a good ten years younger than you.

Never been compared to a WW2/Korean War soldier before.

A soldier yes because I’m lethal but not a digger.
ZCF OriginalZCF Hall of Famer
Not because you're old, just because people don't tend to extrovert the larrikin in public anymore.

Ok a little bit of fun. I'm sure our illustrious admins will not mind me posting this here, considering we've had a lot of doom and gloom in recent months.

I want to know who your favorite forum member is, exactly why and what your fondest (or perhaps least fondest) memory is.

I'll start:

Favorite member is Eugene due to the one line rockets, as well as the subtlety of the sarcasm. Sometimes you don't hear from him for weeks on end and then all of a sudden he'll pipe up with something brilliant.

Closely followed by the DOGG for his brutal matter of fact posts.

Zimbos for being able to argue coherently and not from a biased view point.

Jaybro for not letting trolls like Hhm and Chesterton get away with their biased viewpoints.

Your turn

Definitely Crimsonavenger

Always positive, good fella.

Zimfan1 has good information as well

Also Sloan & AndyBliggz (Milan) we’re all pretty similar I reckon we’d enjoy a beer together.

And of course a couple of my favourite sparring partners Kriterion & TapsC, always enjoy a heated discussion with these fellas.

Anusha gamage.

In all seriousness, probably ZIMDOGGY. This forum is very serious and largely devoid of trolling and idiots that plague other online communities. DOGG gives us all a respectable taste of the madness that exists elsewhere online.

eugene for his quips (and terrible choice in NRL side). Sloan for being so passionate. Googly for his commitment. jaybro for similar reason as sloan suggested.

Feel like there's a good group here that could get on and unfortunately we all live in different countries or we'd have a decent cricket side....perhaps pub standard, but still.

Googly.

I do have a soft spot for Kriterion because he opposes in such a constructive way as opposed to the trolls or the bots.

Dogg is a special kind of character that reminds me of a couple of old diggers I knew.

But probably Crimson and foreignfield for best gentlemanly conduct and content over the years.

Right back at ya.

Gotta love someone who loves u 😂

Muddie for me. "Guy Whitthall versus Sean William" was one of the toughest posts of the year. :D

I remember him losing his s**t once too after we failed to qualify last year 😂
Legend
Overall: CrimsonAvenger

For match-day enthusiasm: Jemisi

For the best laughs: Eugene
