Seeing the likes of Chamu, Elton, Wellington constantly getting picked says a lot about the lack of talent pool which is not non existent, just poorly managed.

Anyone over 30 who isn't a national auto pick should no longer be considered for the national team.

Meaning the only international players above 30 should be Williams, BT, Raza, Kyle and Ervine.

And believe me that's plenty as is!

The rest can beef up the domestic scene if they don't want to retire

I'll give a pass to Regis and Primce FOR NOW as they are in the test team currently doing ok. But if they drop out, they need to go in the scrapheap.

Yeah, I agree with ZIMDOGGY, it is time to get more youths in the team. These old loosers need to go.

If Raza, Sean W , BT , Chamu , Chatara & Jarvis are automatic picks in all formats they don't need 25 players for the tour...

20 is enough...

Pretty sure the PCB announcement said we will travel with 32 players as we will take part in intra-squad matches whilst there.

According to the PCB statement, Zimbabwe will have a 32-member playing squad travelling to Pakistan, to take part in both the series as well as some intra-squad warm-up matches. They will reach on October 20.

"The squad will undergo two Covid-19 tests within a space of 48 hours prior to their departure in Harare, while the second tests will be conducted as soon as they arrive in Islamabad," the statement added. "Players and Player Support Personnel testing negative in Islamabad will be eligible to resume training at a venue, which the PCB will confirm in due course.

"Players and player support personnel testing positive during the tour will have to observe a five-day self-isolation and will only be allowed to re-integrate with the side after two negative tests."
